Select install folder: force_install_dir c:\SteamCMD\7_Days_to_Die_server\ (You do not have to use this exact folder). My only complaint was it took a long time to build (dug entirely with hand tools, no auger), and my entry shaft was too close (20ish blocks) and I found zombies had broken into it a couple of times (they always got stuck on the ladder for some reason). The A20 version needs Microsoft Visual C Redistributables 2022 to run.

Turrets could easily be added to the bottom, and you could even add blade traps to the walls of the fall shaft to chop zombies up a bit on the way down. And bedrock is invincible, so they can't dig, and explosions won't damage it. The chamber walls were far enough out from where I was standing that zombies never attacked them. Sometimes I would fill the bottom with spike, but they didn't last long and didn't do much. Zombies would fall down the shaft, take electric fence damage, then fall damage, then they would be standing still for a second or so being electrocuted so they were easy targets to shoot (I was up on the catwalk). Where the fall shaft opened up to the larger chamber was a criss-cross of electric fences. I had a catwalk platform of sorts suspended high enough over bedrock to be out of the blast radius of the demolisher zombie. At bedrock I hollowed out a chamber about 12x12 or so I forget the exact height of this chamber, but it was important. I did a pit base in one of the early A18 builds.
